What it's like

The Palconf take on ALL IN 2026

Palconf

Compiled by Palconf · Updated Sep 3, 2026

ALL IN 2026 is Canada's national AI summit — two days in Montréal drawing roughly 7,500 attendees from 40+ countries and 260+ speakers, at the point where the country's AI research, policy, and commercial agendas meet in one room.

The room is broader than a tech floor. Canada's largest enterprises send delegations — RBC, TD, National Bank, Desjardins, Air Canada, Loblaw, Metro, CGI, Accenture, Deloitte and WSP among them — alongside federal and provincial bodies including the Department of National Defence, Export Development Canada, Investissement Québec, BDC and the City of Montréal. The research establishment turns out in force: McGill, Université de Montréal, Polytechnique, HEC, ÉTS and the University of Toronto are all represented. Applied-AI companies exhibit alongside all of them.

It's a senior room. C-suite and founder-level people make up roughly a quarter of catalogued attendees, with directors and VPs the bulk of the rest, and technology by far the largest function group. Subject matter runs from generative and agentic AI to cybersecurity, data privacy and regulatory compliance, with digital health the clearest vertical cluster. Come ready for substantive technical conversations with people who can act on them.

The verdict

Should you go?

ALL IN reads as Canada's national AI gathering rather than a single-audience trade show: enterprise buyers, public-sector bodies, research institutions and applied-AI vendors in one venue for two days.

Across the full participant set, large enterprises and younger companies turn out in roughly equal numbers — so the value here depends less on who is exhibiting than on which conversations you plan. With about a quarter of catalogued attendees at C-suite or founder level and a deep director and VP layer beneath, this is a room for senior-level agenda-setting: enterprise AI adoption, public-sector partnerships, research collaboration and early commercial traction.

Best for

  • Enterprise and public-sector teams scoping AI adoption
  • AI vendors selling into Canadian enterprise and government
  • Research and academic groups looking for industry partners
  • Applied-AI companies seeking design partners and early customers
  • Digital-health and financial-services teams — the two clearest verticals

Temper expectations

  • Teams outside AI/ML — the agenda is narrowly focused on artificial intelligence
  • Anyone expecting a large exhibition hall; the value sits in sessions and conversations, not booth count
  • Sellers who need a single-visit close — this room sets agendas, contracts land later

How to work the floor

Your game plan

  1. 01Plan around the attendee list, not the booth list — the exhibiting companies are a small slice of who is actually in the building.
  2. 02Canada's banks and retailers are here in force — RBC, TD, National Bank, Desjardins, Loblaw and Metro — so if you sell into financial services or retail, build your two days around them.
  3. 03Public-sector presence is real: the Department of National Defence, Export Development Canada, Investissement Québec, BDC and the City of Montréal all send people.
  4. 04The research bench is unusually deep for a commercial event — McGill, Université de Montréal, Polytechnique, HEC and the University of Toronto are all represented.
  5. 05Come technical: the subject mix runs generative AI, agentic AI, NLP, cybersecurity, data privacy and regulatory compliance.
  6. 06Roughly a quarter of catalogued attendees are C-suite or founder-level — lead with outcomes, not features.
